The Organizing Committee of Biosystems Engineering 2018 is delighted to announce that Prof. Thomas Keller from Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences has agreed to give a keynote speech on Soil compaction: causes, costs and prevention
Thomas Keller is a professor of soil mechanics and soil management at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) in Uppsala, Sweden, and a scientist with the Agroscope research institute in Zürich, Switzerland.
His research interests include soil structure dynamics due to natural processes and soil management, soil-plant interactions, soil mechanical processes related to soil compaction and soil tillage, and impacts of soil management on soil structure and soil functions such as fluid transport and crop growth.
