Given the recent escalation of events related to COVID-19 and increasing global restrictions on travel and recommendations to limit large gatherings, the Biosystems Engineering 2020 events will NOT be taking place in Tartu this year. It is unfortunate that we will not be able to come together this May, however the health and well-being of you – our members, speakers, delegates, sponsors and exhibitors – is most important and we must respect the extreme measures that are being taken to contain the pandemic.

This was a very hard decision to come to as we are very appreciative of your support of this conference. We will continue to keep our communication channels open as we work to find an alternative, e-form for the conference. We will proceed with extending full refunds to delegates who have registered for the conference but will not be publishing a paper. The processing of all submissions will continue as planned and all the accepted papers will be published no matter in which form or when the conference itself will take place. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and burden that this places on you.
