The Organizing Committee of Biosystems Engineering 2020 is delighted to announce that Professor Seid Mahdi Jafari has agreed to give a keynote speech on Cutting-edge nanoencapsulation technologies for food experts

Prof. Seid Mahdi Jafari received his PhD degree in Food Process Engineering from the University of Queensland (Australia), in 2006. He has been working on the nanoemulsification and nanoencapsulation of food bioactive ingredients for the past 15 years. Now, as a full Professor, he is an academic member of GUASNR (Iran). He has published more than 115 papers in top-ranked International Food Science journals (h-index=29 in Scopus) and 25 book chapters along with editing 11 books with Elsevier. In November 2015, he was awarded as one of the top 1% scientists of the world with the highest citations by Thomson Reuters (Essential Scientific Indicators) in the field of Biological Sciences. Also in December 2017, he was selected as one of the top national researchers of IRAN by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology.
