The Organizing Committee of Biosystems Engineering 2019 is delighted to announce that Prof. Rajeev Bhat is scheduled to deliver a keynote speech at the conference titled ”Practical Insights on Sustainability Challenges Incurred in the Agri-Food Sector”.

Rajeev Bhat, PhD, is presently working as Professor (ERA Chair in Valortech) at the Estonian University of Life Sciences (EMU). He holds an extensive ‘Research and Teaching’ experience of nearly 20 years in the field of agri-food technology, with his research expertise focusing on various issues pertaining to ‘Sustainable Food Production’ and ‘Food Security.’ He holds International work experiences in South-Korea, Malaysia, India, Germany, and in Fiji Islands. He has a scholarly H-index of 40 in Google scholar (with 6798 citations and i10-index of 108) and H-index of 32 in Scopus database. Till date, he has nearly 200 research articles published in ISI based journals, as refereed book chapters, etc. He has edited 4 books and authored 1 book, is in the editorial board of leading international journals, and has been the scientific committee member and invited speaker in various international conferences. He is also a recipient of several prestigious international awards and recognitions conferred by various institutions of higher learning and research establishments.
